Hi all,

Thoroughly enjoyed last week’s full house meeting and seeing so many of you laughing and enjoying fellowship.

Our speaker Jessica Redwood was engaging, and it felt as though we very much connected with her presentation of how the Children First Foundation make such an incredible difference to the lives of young children from poorer countries.  Isn’t Zoom incredible too allowing such a presentation to be delivered so effectively – well done to our Zoom team led by John Shaw!

Our Club held its first board meeting of the year, and there will be information reported to our members over this week’s meeting and next week’s Club Assembly.  Exciting things coming up, including that our Club is going to be continuing with the Rotary Market – well done everyone for participating in the survey and especially Emma, Catherine and the market team for batting on!  Yes, it is this Saturday, so all hands on deck.

Coming up too is both our Clean Up Australia Day event being coordinated by Vicki on Sunday 19 March 2023, and also an opportunity for members to volunteer at the Melbourne Holland Festival the day before raising funds on Saturday 18 March 2023 being coordinated by Catherine.  Whilst our Club’s priority will be to attend the Clean Up Australia Day event, it would be wonderful if we can also raise some funds from the Festival.  More information Tuesday night.

Our speaker Tuesday night is James Bennett from All Access Holidays – here is a link to an information video: https://youtu.be/6kLAwpY3pgE.

See you Tuesday!
