It was great to have so many guests at this week’s meeting and the vibe and energy on Tuesday would have provided a very positive impression of the Club.  I have to confess that I did not realise the full extent of the excellent work that the Pyjama Foundation do and given that they are active in our region as well, would really like to see the Club support this vital initiative in some way (will speak to Tina in due course).  It was also great to see a former member (Ian McConnell, now President of the Frankston North Rotary Club) and hopefully we will see Jodie Yandle again as she would appear to be a great Club member.

 

Cocktails on the Catwalk is certainly coming together although I am not sure whether the prospect of male Rotarians in trunks and boardies will swell possible numbers or act as a deterrent!!??  We do of course have some startling well-honed and sculptured male figures in the Club though so hopefully the former will prevail.

 

Things appear to be progressing very well with the Deb Ball with Shalini managing to get at least 34 couples and already a whole host of attendees so please give her every support to make this yet another fantastic event.

 

Finally, two key events not to forget: 1) Funfest this Sunday which will be a 7am start for some ☹ and 2) Board reports for the Borad Meeting next Tuesday.  Thank you.
