Another incredible week of Rotary.

 

Tuesday night’s Pride of Workmanship was a night our Club should be proud of (as well said by Roy to me a couple of days later). It was a true celebration of collaboration with Puffing Billy again, of local businesses’ success and of their staff‘s incredible commitment and contribution to their businesses. Brilliantly put together by Ian Ash and his team - Hita, Susi and JR. Well done Kelly on a great raffle too. 

 

And then Wednesday we went down to the Monash Children’s Cancer Hospital where we were given tours of their research facility and children’s hospital, where Hendo presented our cheque for $50K to Dr Peter Downie the head of Paediatric Haematology/Oncology and director of the Hospital. Many members and sponsors attended and the experience gave immeasurable meaning to all the hard work our Club does  

 

This Tuesday I’m very excited we are inducting Toni-Anne Griffin as our Club’s newest member; and we have Darlene and Gede from G’Day Ink presenting on the myths and progression of the tattoo industry and we may have a live model as Gede shows us his “inkjectionship”.

 

Then Easter Saturday we are marketing again and all hands are on deck!
