We were deeply disappointed to learn that the All-American event fell short of its attendance and fundraising goals, due to the unfortunate weather conditions. Special thanks to Ian Ash, who stepped in the later stages of planning and, along with Kris Ash, Roy, Rowan and Linda, Marcus, Peter, Andrew and Chris who worked tirelessly to create an exceptional event. Your collective efforts were truly remarkable, and it's clear that the event would have been a resounding success if not for the unpredictable weather. Your dedication and teamwork are greatly appreciated!
Flavour Bomb is the BOMB
Thank-you to our incredible Vocational Team, particularly Gayle Barrot, for organizing a fantastic vocational evening! The food, fellowship, and company were all top-notch. We should plan to return as a club soon!
I'm also grateful for the visit to the Emerald Museum, where we delved into Emerald's rich history. Thank you to the team for making it happen!
Time to clean up!
Now, let's look ahead to this Sunday's Clean Up Australia Day event! A huge thank you to our Environment Team for organizing this initiative. Please meet at the Scout Hall at 10 am, wearing your Rotary shirts, for a couple of hours of cleaning up our beautiful town. The weather forecast promises a dry day with a high of 19 degrees.
Rotary family love
On a personal note, it was wonderful to reconnect with our Rotary family last night after missing a couple of meetings. Your love and support mean the world to Andrew and me. We've missed your smiling faces and appreciated your kindness during this time.
