Dear esteemed fellow Rotarians,

I trust this message finds you all in the best of spirits as we embrace the vibrant month of May!

I hope you're all finding ways to keep cozy during these chilly days.

What a delightful gathering we had on Tuesday evening! Anna's guidance on bridge certainly ignited a spark of interest in card games. It was a nostalgic trip down memory lane for me, reminiscent of cherished moments spent playing cards with family during my childhood.

A heartfelt thank you to PP Gayle and Lyn for orchestrating such a splendid feast for our club. Your efforts are truly appreciated!

Congratulations to Toni-Anne on her victory with the lolly jar! With everyone's enthusiastic participation, we managed to raise approximately $122 for our club. Your engagement truly makes all our events so much more enjoyable.

Our board convened on Wednesday evening, and we've outlined a few more exciting initiatives to look forward to. The AOS has truly outdone themselves with their dedication and hard work.

This Friday, several of our esteemed members will be visiting Emerald Primary School to welcome our EarlyAct members. I eagerly anticipate meeting these young leaders who embody the future of service.

And let's not forget about the upcoming Monash Gala this Saturday! It promises to be an evening filled with joy and celebration, surrounded by some of the most remarkable individuals who share our commitment to service above self.

As we step into the weekend, I wish each and every one of you an amazing time filled with love, warmth, and laughter.

Take good care and remember to stay warm!

President Sangeeta
In order to confirm numbers for meetings at the pub, please ensure that you communicate the following to PP PHF Lorna:

  • notify if NOT attending by 12 noon on the MONDAY before the meeting
  • and notify if bringing guests or visitor
  • notify at any time about future absences and holidays.
Thank You!

Last Week's Meeting - Social Meeting

A great social evening  at The Hub with plenty of good wine and food courtesy Gayle, Lyn and Sangeeta we had a guest speaker Anna St Clair (neighbour of Marcus) and Bridge player extraordinaire speak on the merits of the card game Bridge.

Apparently you don’t have any players suffering with Dementia or Alzheimer’s. It was good to have Honorary member Martin Buoncristiani’ and Pat attend and so many of the Club members.

Congratulations to Toni-Anne who won the lolly jar guess with 408 lollies in the jar.  This fundraiser raised $122.
