Hey there, Awesome Team!

I hope you're all basking in the glow of this sun-tastic day! 🌞

Let's talk about last week's meeting - it was like a unicorn riding a rainbow through a field of candy canes! 🦄🌈🍭 We had a venue that made us all go "wow," Melanie joined our crew, and Kerryn Mayne's words were like fireworks for the soul!
Big, hearty THANK YOUs to Peter & Gabby from RSL Emerald for letting us crash at their place. You folks rock our socks! 🙌

And a warm Rotary welcome to Melanie Moulday! Brace yourself, Melanie, for a whirlwind of rotary adventures. We can't wait to discover all your quirks and hobbies! 🌪️ Melanie's our new addition to community service, by the way.
Speaking of whirlwinds, Kerryn Mayne left us all spinning with her story about becoming a writer. Her books flew off the shelves faster than a sneeze in a snowstorm! 📚❄️

Oh, and hold on to your detective hats, because Jonh Henderson dropped a mystery bomb - did Lenny Marks get away with murder? 🕵️‍♂️🔍 Well, folks, it's a cliffhanger! You'll have to read the book to find out - no spoilers allowed! 📖 Shhh…

Get ready for a wild time next Tuesday! It's our club's social night, and we're headed to Donations in Kind. Gayle's already sent out an email with all the deeds - time, place, address, and cost. If you missed it, here's the scoop:

📍 Address: Shed 39/400 Somerville Road, West Footscray.

We can't wait to see those radiant smiles on Tuesday. Until then, stay toasty and snug as a bug in a rug! 😊🔥🐞

Guest Speaker - Kerryn Mayne

An author, former wedding photographer, current police detective based in Frankston and terrible (but enthusiastic) tennis player. When not at work she attempts to solve crime, she is writing about it or preparing an endless stream of snacks for her four children.

her latest book, which took her 18 months to write is  “Lenny Marks gets away with murder” is set in Belgrave and Selby. From commencing writing the book to publishing this year it took 3 years.  A very entertaining speaker and at least 10 members purchased signed copies of her book.
