How Are We Tracking?
Well ,Marcus rang Ken to tell him about how good the club is!
The RC of Emerald has funded and supported most Rotary programs, Polio Plus, RAM, Wheelchairs for Kids as well as the Storm Recovery. Supported Lismore, gifts to elderly , tenderfoot, yr 12 and 6 packages, breakfast club and kitchen garden, RYLA and RYDA.
Deb Ball, Market are fundraisers, return KFRWT maybe GCR and possibly the All American β very impressive.
You are a happy and vibrant club with an awesome reputation for being a fun club and having a good time β there is costume envy from every club in the district! A big effort has been made by you all.
The culture has never changed - people come and go β Russ Nielsen.

Emerald & District is a benchmark club in the district (oh dear says Gayle)!!
We are the only club in district with more female than male members!!!
Our club is a great eg of how to get things done.
Ken is extremely proud of what we have achieved and thanked us for the support this year.
District is here to support clubs with 50 volunteers to help you find success.
Ken's Major Focuses This Year
- Membership growth β we are merging with another district as under 1100 β 961 members at a Board Meeting this week important we concentrate on this β ask someone to be a member at every opportunity you get

- New style clubs satellite, corporate etc are the way of the future need to take advantage of every opportunity we have not attending weekly meetings β committee to put provide guidelines.Interact and Earlyact clubs as well as Rotaract club in this area is a possiblity
- Clubs reflecting our community
- Connections β Rotary was a business network β developing list of all businesses in our district β this has been set up and cards are being placed there to support Rotarians with businesses in the district.
- Rotary Foundation β the base β Rotary Grants, Emerald is a great supporter of Foundation.Always a need for some funds.Centurion 8 members of this club are members β think about joining.
- Diversity Equity and Inclusion β set up a committee on how to help Rotary attract members to reflect community 50% were born in another country.Only one club goes close to that %.Hoping to share ideas of this committee before the end of the year.You are invited to join.

Charity of Choice β Foundation feels comfortable supporting Foundation
In his time Ken and Marie, his wife, fostered 48 childre and when she died of Breast Cancer the Rotarians of this club became part of his extended family. the support given will never be forgotten.
