Hello, Dynamic People of Action!

I hope you're all feeling firmly grounded because there's quite a gust out there!

Wow, last week's meeting was an absolute delight, and it warmed my heart to see all those radiant smiles.

Pat from U3A really opened our eyes, reminding us that age is just a number when it comes to learning new things. Knowledge truly is power, and let's keep fuelling our minds with curiosity.

Speaking of support, it was heartwarming to see Martin, our honorary member, standing by his wonderful wife.

Now, let's talk about some exciting events coming up! Our Rotary market is happening this Saturday, and Catherine and her dedicated team have been working tirelessly behind the scenes. If you're not volunteering, swing by for some delicious egg and bacon rolls or whatever tickles your taste buds.

On Sunday, we're lending a hand to our Rotary pals at Puffing Billy for their 2023 running festival. It's fantastic to see so many of our members stepping up for various roles.

Hold onto your hats because this week's club meeting is going to be off the charts! We've got a packed agenda, and here's a sneak peek:
  • First up, our Club Assembly – brace yourselves for a whirlwind of updates from the chairs of each AOS. There's so much to share!
  • We're thrilled to welcome Rowan French as our "Behind the Badge" presenter. Get ready to embark on a journey through his adventures and what makes him tick. Rowan, we can't wait to hear your story.
  • Dave and Jeff from 1st Emerald Scout Group will be dropping by to express our club's generosity with a $500.00 donation for their 100-year commemorative badges.
  • And don't forget, John Ritchie will be raising a toast to our cherished elder Beryl Bartacek.
  • But hold onto your hats, there's more! Cue the drumroll because we're adding a brand-new member to our ever-growing family. Let’s give Paula Jones the warmest of welcomes as she joins our club. Paula, we're eagerly anticipating the chance to get to know you better.
Until we reconvene, I wish you all an absolutely fabulous weekend.

Stay cozy and keep that inner fire burning!

President Sangeeta
