Integrating Younger Generations into the Workforce If you look around your workplace, you are likely to see people from the full five generations on the job today, from the Silent Generation to Gen Z. A result of this boost in age diversity are discussions about how generational differences are impacting individuals and organisations. In this webinar, we will be exploring this issue and putting forward some recommendations to young professionals about how to integrate into workplaces. We will also share recommendations to employers about how to welcome and find the best value out of younger workers.

Two Very Special WASH Addresses
At a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Box Hill Central two very special Rotarians made two very special addresses on the topic of WASH programs.
Ron Dehman joined Rotary in 1958 (!), was the founding Chair and is now Chair Emeritus of WASRAG. He is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent presenter.
Click here to see his address to RCBHC and guests.

And, if you’re super impressed by Ron, as I’m sure you will be, here’s a link to a 2013 Ted Talk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_6cJ15doao&list=PLSatVjzQd2dRa8jJoKNOpTv2vaMrF8Z0c&index=3&t=0s Bill Boyd joined Rotary in 1971 and was RI President in 2006/07. Sep. 23, 2020 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Hello everyone, I am so excited to let you know that Celeste Mergens, founder and CEO of Days for Girls, will be Zooming in to the Rotary Club of Box Hill Central from Seattle in time for breakfast on Wednesday 23 September (7.30 AM Melbourne time). We started promoting it on Friday last week and we already have around 160 people registered from around Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, PNG and the USA. We have upgraded our Zoom account especially for this meeting so we have room for plenty more. I have attached a flyer which you are welcome to share with your members and they in turn are welcome to share it with anyone that they think might be interested. This meeting is certainly not restricted to Rotarians - anyone who wants to see the world become a better place for girls and women in the developing world is most welcome to join in. To register just click on the link in the flyer or this link below. We will send the Zoom link out to everyone on Sunday 20 September.
Best regards and hope to see you there,

Club input to the District Grants “Fair Share” Model
and
Rotary from a Villagers Perspective in Papua New Guinea
(Learn how The Rotary Foundation and District 9810 Resource Network can help your Club to participate in Local and International Grants Projects ).
While Covid-19 has caused many Rotarians to ‘re-think’ their position on providing service to the community, locally and internationally; and giving to the Foundation; - this inspirational Seminar is designed to renew your enthusiasm to do more ‘good in the world’.
This seminar is in two parts: - Part 1) covering Club projects in both the local and international community through a proposed new District Grants model; and Part 2), an enhanced approach to conducting our international service projects, as seen through the eyes of Osivo, a village project leader in Goroka, Papua New Guinea (part of D9600 Brisbane).
We will cross to Goroka to learn how Osivo led a village driven process to help Rotary deliver a project that the community needed – precious water! Learn also how resource networks across Rotary Districts can connect your Club to our near neighbour communities in need. Hear directly from Osivo what a benefitting community wants from its relationship with Rotary; and significantly, how to avoid the mistakes of other Aid Agencies, including some of our Rotary driven Grant projects of the past.
This seminar is a must for all Clubs as we prepare to embark on exciting new opportunities in Rotary D9810. Tony Stokes (International Service Chair) and David Alexander (Foundation Chair) welcome you to attend.
